In early 2020, Oisín Campbell, Michael Savage, and Peter Toal from Co. Monaghan, Ireland came together to form Plant Bass'd. Initially, the collective focused on sharing their love for music and throwing parties, however, it soon developed into something bigger, with a mission to showcase artists, releases, and club nights in the experimental dance music world.
The team aspire to create unforgettable Plant Bass'd events across Ireland and Scotland. Oisín has been a force to be reckoned with in Scotland, developing a unique identity for Plant Bass'd in Edinburgh and Glasgow with the events orchestrated. In the past 2 years the likes of Amor Satyr, DJ Mell G, Kessler, Martyn Bootyspoon, Two Shell, TAAHLIAH and many others have appeared at Plant Bass'd shows in Scotland. Across the pond in Ireland, events have been steadily gaining momentum in Dublin, and more recently, Galway under Michaels' direction. Local artists are given a platform to express themselves through the Organica series.
Online, the team work closely together to highlight underground music in the 'Under The Radar' series each month, premiere up-and-coming artists on SoundCloud, and write about interests ranging from festivals and forward-thinking labels to topical movements. With this, they establish a safe, welcoming space where everyone can celebrate and express themselves freely.
