249 launch an exciting new venture at Ooh Mami Leith celebrating queer culture for all. Describing themselves as a not-for-profit, ramshackle queer party, 249 are bringing together an eclectic night of music with notable sets incoming from Hiba, DJ Ali & more.
Edinburgh's transiting party starters GRDN are back with a lovedown from their own residents at a secret location in central Edinburgh. After a string of pop up parties and a night at Teviot Underground with Acid Waxa recently, GRDN are establishing themselves as one of the more inventive club series in the capital with another exciting show expected on Friday. Overground kick start their 2022 series with a fundraiser for the Harm Reduction team. One of the most exciting bills of the weekend with a showcase of some of Edinburgh's finest selectors in Feena, Aphid, Franck, Smiff & more. Samedia Shebeen's carnival-esque party Disco Makossa is back at the Bongo with a journey into African disco, funk, house, & techno with Jaiva Glasgow & Sub Club regular Butho the Warrior. Moxie takes on Sneaky's once more for a 4 hour set. NTS resident and long time collaborator with acts like Shanti Celeste, Peach, and Saoirse, Moxie has played all across the globe but holds a very special regard for Sneaky's. Expect a host of house, techno & club sounds throughout the night.
The Messenger Soundsystem hosts a very special night, an ode to all things Bob Marley. Top Wailers selections all night long on one of Scotland's original systems and strictly only music from the blessed brother for his birthday special.
